Allotments

An allotment is an area of land, leased either from a private or local authority landlord, for the use of growing fruit and vegetables. In some cases this land will also be used for the growing of ornamental plants, and the keeping of hens or rabbits.

Allotment gardening is a great way to get outdoors and get active whilst growing your own vegetables and fruit.

Norton-juxta-Kempsey Parish Council allotments are situated on Wadborough Road in Littleworth. We currently have 52 various sized, rented allotment plots, the allotment season runs from 1st September to 31st August.

The NJK PC Councillors oversee the allotments supported by our Assistant Clerk Katy Watkinson.

If you are interested in renting an allotment in Littleworth, or you are a plot holder wishing to contact us please use the Allotment Enquiry link on the right.

We operate a waiting list policy for allotments. Plots are allocated following the order of the date of the application and parishioners who do not already have an allotment will take priority over parishioners who already hold a plot.

Upon receipt of the application your name would be added to the waiting list, and we will contact you when a plot becomes available. You will be given the opportunity to view the plot before deciding whether to take it on and sign the agreement.
