Norton-juxta-Kempsey Neighbourhood Plan Consultation

The Neighbourhood Plan group have worked over the last two years to turn community concerns and aspirations into planning policies that can be used to inform future development in the parish of Norton-juxta-Kempsey. Once the Plan progresses through all the required stages it will be used by the Wychavon District Council and Planning Inspectors to determine all planning applications in the parish until at least 2030 alongside the South Worcestershire Development Plan (SWDP).

A paper summary delivered to every home in the parish enables the community to comment on the draft policies of the Norton-juxta-Kempsey Neighbourhood Plan. Our consultation is open for 6 weeks from Monday 19th October 2020 to 5pm on Monday 30th November 2020 so please let us know your thoughts; it is really important the Plan reflects the local community’s views.

We really do welcome your feedback as the Plan has been informed by the results of various public consultations including a residents’ questionnaire, a business questionnaire and two events in February 2020 that included a survey on the Vision and Objectives and Local Green Space designations. A group of local residents and parish councillors, under the guidance of independent planning consultants, have also undertaken a significant amount of research and evidence gathering to inform this process.
