The Safer Neighbourhood Team have launched a search for Young Good Citizens of 2021: An opportunity to recognise and publicise the great work done by many young people in our communities. The event allows us to deliver a positive message about our youth to the wider public and strengthens the relationship between police and young people.
We want to hear about those aged 18 or under who have displayed great spirit and are making a real difference. We are particularly keen to receive nominations about young people who have overcome challenges in their own lives and have still been able to make a difference to others in their community. All nominees meeting the criteria will receive a Young Good Citizen Certificate from their Safer Neighbourhood Team. Ten of these (two from each policing area) along with their proposers, will be invited to a final awards ceremony at Police HQ in Autumn 2021 attended by Chief Officers & High Sheriffs.
Do you know someone that deserves recognition? If so complete the nomination form to be found on the link below and submit by 30 July 2021
Many thanks for your help and support – the nominations make a real impact on the young people nominated.
Nominations should be forwarded to CINSP Ed Hancox in North Worcestershire
